Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Plot (the web game at plot-game.pages.dev and the Plot Android app) collects, why, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
Account: your email address and password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider) and the username you pick.
Profile: optional avatar picture, home country, bio, clan membership and the cosmetics you own or wear.
Gameplay: plots, buildings, game-money balances and transactions, scores, badges, titles, friends, clans and game results.
Messages: what you post in global, friend and clan chat, and any reports you file.
Device and app: a push-notification token if you allow notifications, a random device code used only to stop referral abuse, the app version, and error reports (page, browser/app version, error text) so we can fix bugs.
We do not collect your GPS location, contacts, photos (other than an avatar you choose to upload), or payment card details. Plot does not show ads.
2. How we use it
To run your account and the game, show your public profile to other players, deliver chat and notifications you asked for, pay weekly prizes in game money, prevent cheating and abuse, and fix errors. We do not sell your data.
3. What other players can see
Your username, avatar, country, title and badges, clan, cosmetics, plots on the map, and chat messages you post (clan chat is visible only to members of that clan). Your email is never shown to other players. You can hide your earnings from leaderboards in settings.
4. Who processes it
Supabase (database, sign-in and storage), Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android push notifications) and Brevo (account emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset). They process data only to provide those services.
5. Brag cards and sharing
Brag cards are drawn on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to share the image through your phone's share sheet or WhatsApp.
6. Security and retention
Data is sent over HTTPS and protected by per-user database access rules. We keep your data while your account exists. Error logs are kept for up to 90 days.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time, in the game (Menu → ⚙️ Settings → Account → Delete account) or on the web at plot-game.pages.dev/delete-account. You confirm with your username and your password or an email code. Deletion becomes final after a 7-day grace period; signing in again during that time cancels it. We then delete your sign-in (email and password), profile, push tokens, friends, follows, private messages, notifications, posts, cosmetics and invite codes. Your plots and cash return to the Treasury Account. Public and clan chat lines and trade records are kept but anonymised as “Deleted player”.
8. Children
Plot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
